I think children should have to work becuase in some countries they don’t get enough money even when their parents are working. I also think they should go to work so the can learn some stuff about work.
I don’t think children should work because they need to learn maths and spelling at school so they can do their job and run parties and stuff like that. It’s not fair for children to work because their mum and dad were once children to and they probably didn’t have to work.

yes, i think children should have to work because when they get older they will have the confidence to do there job much better. i think children and adults have to work but adults don’t whip or hurt the children because they were children once aswell. if children didn’t work they would steal money and get involed in gangs and bad stuff like that and nobody wants anybody to steal or get invoived with gangs.

Yes I think children should werk because they shoudn’t have to steel stuff like food or muney and get into truble to look after there sellves they should werk to get muney to bey the food because its agents the law to steel but they have no choise but they no its bad.

should children have to work?
Yes because its better than living on the street with no money and stealing money. But on the street yoiur don’t get whipped and yelled at, you can have your freedom. Yes, but yet again they have to steal money and food and search for a better life. And they work so hard in factories while getting whipped and yelled at by workers and owners of the factory. But in factories you get paid for doing hard work so its better than nothing.

I think children like Bruno should work to earn their own money but not get whipped if they are not working hard enough or fast enough. If you don’t work how are you going to learn. You should work to find your own living. You will get a good education if you work. I don’t think young people like 8 or 7 should work. They are not really supposed to.

yes, I think children should work because they could learn from work and they could become more responsible adults and they will be able to get a complicated job.
No, the job they pick might treat them like slaves then it wont help them.

I believe it is not fair to treat Bruno and other children extremely bad. It must be terrifying for them.
But looking on it the other way Bruno has to have money so he can buy food for his baby sister who is two and him who is 8 years old, so I am in the middle here.

Should children have to work?
I think children should be able to work because firstly it may be a tragic matter of life or death. Secondly, because it will give you precious money to get a good education in schools. It will hurt them when they are whipped but it will make them work faster so that they can get the job done quicker.

Should children have to work?
Yes I think children should work because they have to make a living out of it. Therefore, if they did not work they would have to join a gang or steal or take drugs. Also, if they did not work they would not be able to buy food and stuff they need to live.
No, I think children should not have to work because adults have had their turn of being children.

Should children have to work?
I don’t think children should work because it’s comonly adults who work. Children should be like most children and go to school and get education. They don’t need money to go to school, they just go. Working is realy just for adults. Children are sometimes in danger in the streets. If they don’t work they could at least have someone who isn’t extremely busy to look after them.
Yes, I think children should work because they need money to buy food and not steal things, because stealing is wrong. Chidlren should work because that’s really the only way they can get money for food unless they find some money on the ground.

Should children have to work?
No, I don’t think children should have to work. Its not right sombody working all their lives and not being able to have fun at school with their friends or learn all the vital things that you need to know when you are an adult and when you should have to work. for example you need to be good at maths if you want to be an accountant so that’s why I think children shouldn’t work.

Hello again boys and girls,
It’s been a wee while since I have commented on the blog but I’m glad to see that you are all still working hard. Now, you seem to be having a very interesting discussion about whether or not children should have to work. I have found your work to be thought provoking, however, you have not persuaded me to believe one side or the other. You will have to try harder to encourage me to share your views. I have heard that there are some children in your school who are very good at debating. I look forward to hearing your continued discussions.
So, next Thursday night is the big Wacky Khaki Party for parents. I look forward to receiving my invitation. I have been checking my post box every night but nothing so far…I would really love to meet you all.
Keep up the hard work and congratulations to the Management team.

Yes they should work because if they dont they will have no money and they are going to steel, join horible gangs and things like that.
No they should not work because they can get hurt if they are not trying there best.
Yes they should work so they can get educated and when they grow up they will be disaplind and polite.

To all pupils and teachers in primary 3 and 4 I just want to wish you all the best for your big party tonight. I know you’ll be great and the parents are all going to love learning about all that you’ve been doing over the past 10 weeks.
I think all the work you have produced is excellent and of such a high standard. It is clear that you are all experts on Egypt and have learnt such a lot this term. My class (P7) were very impressed at you group work skills when they visited you the other week and thought you demonstrated excellent co-operation. I know they were also blown away by alot of the art work which they saw.
Well done for all your hard work – classrooms looks FANTASTIC! You should all be very proud of yourself.
Have fun this evening.
